Android still No. 1 smartphone OS on ad network

Makes sense, seeing how most of the apps on the Android market are free, most have ads included in them.

Looks like it's time to advertise on Android.

At least android ads are a little bit less intrusive than iAds

Root your droid, it will get rid of ads!

Check out my article on The brand new thunderbolt! My girlfriend picked it up yesterday as soon as it was released!

Rooting your device won't get rid of the ads. Blocking the known ips of ads in the hosts config file will. An easy way to do that would be installing Adfree Android. It's free!

Rooting your android phone alone will not get rid of the ads, get Adfree, a free app that blocks the ip addresses of the ad agencies. It's quite simple.

Android is going to continue to be the best because of it's usability. Maybe the other will take a few pointers from this.
